Blasted Memories sand blast onto glass, stone and metal - creating beautifully customised personal items, art objects. Items encapsulating significant memories, celebrations, bespoke designs or signage for both homes and commercial buildings. You can either choose from the large selection of items we offer for sale, or alternatively if you have something you would like sandblasted then please bring it along.

What is sand blasting?
The name sand blasting comes from using a jet of sand to smooth or engrave a surface, however, due to concerns of silicosis (a condition it causes), a jet of small aluminium oxide pellets is now used to create the same effect. At Blasted Memories we take advantage of this to beautifully customise personal items. Whether you're looking for slate house signs or personalised gifts, Blasted Memories will for sure having something in store for you.
Sand blasting is a simply a specific form of grit blasting, and similar principles apply in large-scale industrial processes
